Das Seeeduino ADK Main Board basiert auf dem Android Open Accessory Development Kit (ADK). Gegenüber dem Google ADK Referenz-Design, hat das Seeeduino ADK viele zusätzliche Funktionen wie die Unterstützung von 5V und 3,3 VI / O (Logik mit einem Schalter), kleinere Formfaktor, eine bessere Platzierung der Reset-Taster, Pads für mehr Pin-Header und Sekt RED PCB mit Gold-Finish. Mit dem ADK Main Board bauen Sie Ihre eigenes Handy-Zubehör. Die Open Source Android Entwicklungsplattform und das Seeeduino ADK Main Board sind eine ideale Lösung für mobil-basierte Haus-Automation.

Das Seeeduino ADK Main Board unterstützt Android-Geräte v1.5 mit MicroBridge und v2.3.4 und Google Open Zubehör API (ADK).

Das Seeeduino ADK Main Board funktioniert wie das Arduino Mega 2560 mit eingebautem USB-Host-Shield. Daher kann diese Hauptplatine an alle USB-Geräte angeschlossen werden. Benutzer müssen ihre eigenen Treiber für die Verwendung dieser Funktion schreiben.

Was ist das Android Open Accessory Development Kit?

Die Android 3.1-Plattform (auch Android 2.3.4 ) stellt eine Android Open Accessory Unterstützung , die es erlaubt eine externe USB-Hardware (ein Android USB Zubehör) mit einem Android-Gerät in einem speziellen "Zubehör"-Modus interagieren zu lassen. Android USB accessories are specifically designed to attach to Android-powered devices and adhere to a simple protocol (Android accessory protocol) that allows them to detect Android-powered devices that support accessory mode. Accessories must also provide 500mA at 5V for charging power. Many previously released Android-powered devices are only capable of acting as a USB device and cannot initiate connections with external USB devices. Android Open Accessory support overcomes this limitation and allows you to build accessories that can interact with an assortment of Android-powered devices by allowing the accessory to initiate the connection.
